Job Description
The Headlines:
In the role of Accounting Coordinator working in Albany, GA, you will be part of the Brewery Finance Team. You will provide support to a variety of teams with useful and accurate financial information. You will deliver MillerCoors accounting, budgeting and control policies, procedures and processes at the department level while supporting brewery level finance as identified.
This position reports to the Manager Brewery Finance and works closely with the Brewery Controller, Corporate Procurement, Technical Accounting, and all of the brewery departments.
The Responsibilities:
• Work within the accounts payable function, focusing on the back end of the procurement process (goods receipt, invoice processing, and resolving discrepancies)
• Processing payroll
• Preparing Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) and sales tax payments
• Supporting monthly reporting
• Contributing in the annual budget process
The Other Qualifications:
• You have a high school diploma with minimum of 3 years or experience, OR an Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (preferred)
• Demonstrated level of financial acumen commensurate with experience
• Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work with different personalities as well as levels of education/experience
• You have strong Excel skills; experience with SAP is preferred
• Knowledge of procurement cycle is preferred
• You love a challenge, enjoy problem solving and have good attention to detail. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities.
• You are confident and competent as well as a team player. You are diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent relationships within the business
